Your recent commercial with the dead chicken cacasses as string puppets entertaining children is disgusting. These were once living animals and a poor example for children. If animals are killed for a purpose to eat and survive for food that is one thing.

If the chicken bodies had feathers and heads you would have animal rights groups outraged and more consumers grossed out. This is also a poor example as handling raw poultry is a health hazard that can make people sick and even die. Entertaining children with dead animal carcasses is in poor taste for your advertising. Would you use dead kittens on strings?

I will no longer buy any clorox products.

HOnestly, I would think a large company would know better. As a vegan I find this commercial with dancing chicken carcasses so offensive.

These animals were most likely raised in deplorable conditions on a factory fam and died a horrible death so someone could have them for dinner. Teaching children such disprespect and lack of compassion is just not good whether you eat meat or not.

Very poor taste and yu get a big THUMBS down from a growing portion of consumers. I will no longer buy Clorox products if this is how low you plan to go.

I think the commercial is hilarious, attention-getting, and illustrative of the point.

Places which have been used for poultry preparation - where raw poultry drips onto it, often leads to contamination with bacteria that have serious consequences to ingest.

Dangling cleaned chickens on strings and bouncing them would be sure to allow for contamination. They illustrate that Clorox Wipes can clean and disinfect even THAT surface.

Assuming that the farm and slaughtering facility is not engaging in animal cruelty, how they treat the resulting corpse is not animal cruelty. As far as how shocking and gross they are, similarly butchered chickens can be found in any grocery store. These are not dead kittens; most people do not routinely encounter dead kittens, and when we do they were likely killed in an inhumane manner.

As far as the chickens being killed other than for food, those chickens may well have been prepared and eaten by someone or something. Companies do not like wasting money.

Even if they did, is this any worse than someone forgetting a chicken in their refrigerator for a week (unscheduled absence maybe), or a freezer malfunction causing food (including meat) loss? How about things left on a steam table too long in a restaurant being thrown away?

A great deal of food processed or prepared for humans is wasted. Do you object to restaurants, steam tables, or expect that food is always prepared to order?

I have an issue with on of your tv ads. Boy comes running mommy mommy I did poo poo so she goes to look in the toilet and says where..

He points to the bathtub..

Really I find this in poor taste..

Agreed. I will not be purchasing anymore Chlorox products. They could have easily gotten their point across without being so *** disrespectful.

Guest

Agreed! Not only is it making fun of dementia, it's defining the corpses of beings that were killed, & using their corpses as a toy.

Disgusting. Our household will also never buy Clorox products

I doubt a company that tests on animals thinks twice about airing a commercial as horrifying as this. I look forward to the day when companies and consumers are more informed and compassionate. In the meantime, *** clorox!

I thought the commercial was hilarious. It caught my attention- the whole purpose of a commercial- and made me laugh out loud.

If Clorox wipes can make that surface safe after that nonsense, I will buy them! Success!

How many commercials do you see that you don't even remember the product being advertised? Not this one!

This is so far from okay NO ONE should be insensitive about this. What's more disturbing is the long line of avenues it went through to get aired!

Sick insensitive people. I don't support this.

:(

Ps. NO ITS NOT FUNNY
